You Can Officially Book Out The Spice Girls Bus On AirBnB

Spice Bus

If you “Wannabe” impressing your other half this summer and have a penchant for pop, why don’t you say “Goodbye” to boring accommodation and bag yourself a night on the Spice Girls’ famous Union Jack bus?

Available now on Airbnb, the iconic vehicle has been turned into the ultimate ’90s nostalgia machine. You can act out your wildest fantasies and stomp around the upper deck in a pair of platform shoes, or simply watch Spice World on repeat. It sounds like the fun will never “Stop”, but you just need to “Say You’ll Be There”.

Airbnb host Suzanne Godley listed the renovated bus for a two-night stay on June 14 and 15. As you can imagine, the £99 stay is expected to go in a matter of seconds when the listing goes live on May 22nd at 8AM BST!

Parked up in the middle of Wembley Park, the stay is for up to three guests per night, meaning six lucky so-and-sos will be ‘spicing’ up their lives. There’s the original driver’s seat (minus Meatloaf), Union Jack chairs, and plenty of Spice Girls memorabilia.

Suzanne explains her love for all things Geri, Emma, Victoria, Mel B, and Mel C, revealing how she fell in love with the girl power group:

“I adored their music growing up and used to choreograph routines to all my favourite songs! I watched Spice World on repeat and never thought I’d get the chance to go inside the actual Spice Bus – so to get this opportunity and now be able to share with other fans is just a dream come true. I’ve been lucky enough to work with some amazing designers on converting the bus into accommodation with the support of Airbnb, and I can’t wait to share it with my fellow fans. Take a look at my listing, and say you’ll be there!”

The Spice Bus definitely looks better than the Big Idaho Potato Hotel. Appearing on the popular holiday site, the description reads: “Recycled from the Idaho Potato Commission’s Big Idaho Potato Tour, this 6-ton potato has traveled on the back of a semi to (48) states for seven years. Now resting on 400 acres of good ol’ Idaho farmland, just south of downtown Boise, this hotel has been meticulously designed by Kristie Wolfe, a former Big Idaho Potato Tour spokesperson, to allow for stylish private comfort and amenities such as power outlets for your electronic devices, a mini fridge, old records to play and a custom-built bed.

“There is also a customized silo turned into a spa retreat perfect for soaking while looking up at the stars. For an extra dose of cuteness, The Big Idaho® Potato Hotel comes with the cutest jersey cow in the world who will be your fuzzy pet for the stay.”

While there’s no news on whether Suzanne will be opening the Spice Bus up for more stays, but given the overwhelming popularity of this one, I’d say we should give her a “Holler”.
