Calling all Mama Mia! fans and those who just enjoy smashing kitchenware, boy do we have the event for you.

Homeware brand Clas Ohlson will pay homage to the Greek tradition as the ABBA-inspired movie makes its way tot he O2 for the upcoming Mamma Mia! The Party.

The pop-up will be taking place on Monday 19 August and will roll into Carousel Space in London’s Covent Garden.

On top of letting off some steam, some lucky participants will even have the chance to win tickets to the big party, by finding blue tickets in their plates.

Mamma Mia! The Party is a theatrical experience based on the popular musical that will open later this month.

Mamma Mia! co-producer and ABBA legend Björn Ulvaeus explained where the idea for the event came from. “The stage musical and the movies became successes beyond my wildest dreams,” he says. “They seem to make people happy, they kind of get you in a party mood – and everyone loves a party.”

“When our guests enter Nikos’ Taverna, they will feel as if they’re right in the heart of a Greek island paradise, eating great Mediterranean food, drinking, singing and dancing to ABBA songs in a Mamma Mia! world,” Björn says.

Guests will enjoy around five hours of entertainment which spans from immersive theatre to a mouth-watering three-course Mediterranean feast. Of course there’ll be a shed-load of ABBA tunes afterwards too.

The experience runs from the end of August until February 2020 and tickets cost £151.20 for band B, £173.60 for band A and £218.40 for premium.
