This Is Not A Drill: Greggs Is Giving Out Free Festive Bakes Today

306views

If you’re British, then there’s certain things that happen in your life that remind you that Christmas is well and truly on its way.

Defining moments include shops starting to play Christmas music ridiculously early, the first sign of the Coca Cola truck advertising on the television, and of course – the return of the delicious Greggs Festive Bake. You always know that it’s Christmas when Greggs drop quite arguably their best bake of all, and while we only get it for a short time each year, it’s definitely appreciated.

Well, if you’re an avid fan of the Festive Bake, then you’ll be pleased to know that as of tomorrow (November 8) they’ll officially be back in stores. However, if you’re too eager at the thought of the glorious pasty returning, then you’ll be thrilled to know that you can actually get your hands on one today, if you live in one of these SUPER lucky locations.

The full listing of stores is as follows:

  • Aberdare – 22A Victoria Square
  • Aberdeen – 55 Union Street
  • Belfast – 52/54 Botanic Avenue
  • Birmingham – 85 New Street, Birmingham New Street Station
  • Bristol – 87 Broadmead
  • Cardiff – 34 Queen Street
  • Durham – 2/3 Saddler Street
  • Edinburgh – Unit 12 Waverley Mall
  • Enfield – Epping Forest Retail Park
  • Glasgow – 162/164 Buchanan Street
  • Leeds – Central Arcade
  • Liverpool – 21 Bold Street
  • London – 111 Great Portland Street
  • Manchester – City Tower, Parker Street
  • Plymouth – 54 New George Street
  • Sunderland – Phoenix House, Union Street

However, you’ll have to be fast – because they’ll start dishing them out as of 4pm and there’s only 100 free for each store. Will you be able to get your hands on one?

Another new edition to their festive menu comes in the form of DELICIOUS looking pigs in blankets. That’s right, from the minute the menu drops you’ll be able to get your little tush on down to Greggs and buy yourself a box of pigs in blankets to consume while you’re on the move. I’ll be completely honest, I prefer them with gravy and on my Christmas dinner, but still, kudos to Greggs for really giving the people what they want.

I don’t know about you but on Thursday morning, I’ll be rushing my little legs straight on down to my local Greggs to get my first bake of the season.
