Stormzy Cancels Sold Out World Tour Dates Over Coronavirus Fears

The rapper has issued a statement…

Storzmy has been forced to cancel a range of his sold out Heavy Is The Head world tour dates over fears of the Coronavirus outbreak.

The rapper released a statement to his social media account, saying: “I was seriously looking forward to bringing the #HITH World tour to Asia and playing some epic sold out shows but due to the ongoing health and travel concerns surrounding the Coronavirus, I’m regrettably having to reschedule this leg of the Tour.”

Stormzy then confirmed he will no longer be performing to fans in Malaysia, China, Japan, Singapore and South Korea.

The rapper revealed he would be rescheduling that leg of the tour, and therefore fans will only have to wait until the medical emergency has been lifted to find out when they will be able to see him again.

Another statement was made shortly after, saying: “Information regarding the rescheduled dates will follow in due course. Please contact your local ticket vendor for any further queries. I promise I’ll be back.”

So far, the deadly virus has claimed the lives of over 1000 people and has left thousands infected and currently battling the illness.
