Warning: Avengers: Endgame spoilers ahead

While we can’t wait to see what happens in Spider-Man: Far From Home, not everyone is overly impressed by the latest spoileriffic trailer for Jon Watts’ Spidey sequel.

The first post-Endgame movie shows our friendly neighbourhood hero back in action and taking on a new threat of supervillains wreaking havoc on the world. Joining the fray as a potential ally of Peter Parker, Jake Gyllenhaal is sticking a goldfish bowl on his head to play Mysterio.

Taking to Twitter, disgruntled fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are confused at why some cinemas have been showing the newFar From Home trailer ahead of Endgame. Considering the upcoming Spider-Man outing spoils the big twist of Iron Man’s death, you can see why people might be a little pissed:

We were right on the money as the first Far From Home trailer teased the death of Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark in Endgame. As well as Nick Fury taking over as Spidey’s gruff mentor, Happy Hogan was seen holding a cheque signed by Pepper Potts (not Tony). Elsewhere, Peter seemed pretty emotional looking at the Spidey suit Stark gave to him in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Hogan stoically warned, “You’re all alone.”
