Netflix has shared ten facts about Stranger Things that we’ve never heard before, and some of them are mind-blowing.
They captioned the images: “Stranger Things facts brought to you straight from The Upside Down”.
In case you can’t read the pictures, we’ve written out the facts for you too. Aren’t we nice?
Here we go…
Millie Bobby Brown was shown pictures of Charlize Theron in Mad Max: Fury Road to convince her to shave her head.
Stranger Things was originally going to be called ‘Montauk’ and set on Long Island, NY.
Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin, originally auditioned to play the role of Mike.
Sadie Sink was almost not cast for the role of Max because she was too tall, but the boys grew in time to match her height.
There was actually an actor inside the season 1 Demogorgon.
Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike, was sick during the audition process and actually auditioned from his bed.
The Upside Down was originally named ‘Nether’ but they got so used to calling it The Upside Down on set that it eventually stuck.
Priah Ferguson, who plays Erica, was supposed to have a very minor role in season 1, but the team loved her so much that they kept bringing her back.
The Duffer brothers auditioned over 1,000 kids before landing the ultimate cast.
Gaten’s voice changed so much during season 1 that he was unable to do additional recordings after filming.
Wow, I feel like I know them all so much better now!
