In amazing news for heavy sleepers, hangovers and breakfast lovers, McDonald’s is set to trial extending its breakfast hours to 11AM.
They are set to test the idea at stores in Portsmouth and the Isle of White – starting today, June 12th,
That means you’ll be able to get your hands on your favourite McMuffin or breakfast wrap for an extra half an hour. The test period is set to last 6 weeks, and if it is successful the fast food giant has promised to bring it to stores nationwide.
The breakfast has stopped at 10:30AM for the last 25 years, so extending this will be a huge change.
If you’re ordering via Uber Eats, you’ll also have an extra half hour as you’ll be able to order breakfast until 10:45, whilst it is currently 10:15.
So if the trial is as successful as we imagine it will be, you should be able to get a McMuffin for an extra half hour in the next few months.
If you’re lucky enough to live in Portsmouth or the Isle of White, you will be able to pick up a breakfast meal until 11AM from now until the 17th of July.

The trial is set to run six weeks and with any success, the whole breakfast menu will run until 11AM. This means that you won’t be able to get your hands on a Big Mac or any other main menu item (including fries) until that time, but we think it’s worth it if we’re able to munch on the amazing breakfast menu just a little while longer.
