McDonald’s has gone and changed up the game by bringing out something they’ve never done before – Christmas merchandise.

Better yet? It’s all currently themed about one of the most loved menu items – the Chicken mcNugget. Yep, that’s right – you can now make your tree match your favourite snack and get a beautiful Christmas Nugget to dangle off your tree’s branches. Is this not the best thing you’ve ever seen?

Ben Fox, marketing director at McDonald’s, said: “Our new Reindeer Ready campaign aims to remind customers that we are there when they need us at this time of year – from a Christmas shopping coffee break to a pre-party burger or even a mid-present delivery carrot stop.

“From TV to OOH, social to in-store, we will make sure there is a little reindeer magic for everyone this Christmas.”

If you want to get your hands on some Maccie’s merch, you can enter the competition here. You can also try and potentially get your hands on a McDonald’s Christmas jumper but you’ll have to be quick because you’ve only got until 11.59pm on 13 December to enter.

McDonalds is just the home of after a night out delicacies, isn’t it.

That drunken stumble home broken as the flickering light from the golden arches lead your way, succeeding where all other takeaways failed, of course it’s open 24 hours.

And what are you going to order? A regular sized meal that you would consume on your lunch at work?

Don’t be so foolish, only a box of 20 nuggets intended for sharing will do. It’s 4am and you are not content with a meal intended for one single person.

What if we told you 20 nuggets was about to become child’s play, what if we told you that you will soon be able to get double that amount plus a little extra in just one sitting?

Do we have your attention?

What if we told you that McDonald’s will be selling a limited edition 48 piece chicken nugget bucket?

The promotion has come about in collaboration with the J-pop group NGT48 but will unfortunately only be available in the city of Niigata.

Each bucket will also come with a collectible NGT48 trading card, meaning you only have to get your way through 25 buckets, or 1200 nuggets – assuming you don’t get any doubles.

Still though, I’d have a solid go at it, anyone up for a road trip?

For those wanting to get involved, the promotion starts on December 1.

On an added note, Wetherspoons is now selling halloumi fries, which is obviously wonderful news.
