Jude Law Returning As Dumbledore For New Harry Potter Adaptation

So excited for this…

A new adaptation of Harry Potter spin-off Tales Of Beedle The Bard is coming.

The new version of author JK Rowling’s book of fictional fairy tales is set to feature several returning actors from the film adaptation of the Harry Potter franchise.

Jude Law will be lending his voice to the character of Young Dumbledore, who he also plays in the spin-off film franchise, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.

The new audio book will be the first time that the stories have been read in character for an audio book.

Other returning Potter alumni include Evanna Lynch, Warwick Davis and Bonnie Wright; they will be joined by Noma Dumezweni, who played Hermione Granger in the stage play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Whilst Law will provide Dumbledore’s notes on all of the fairy tales, each of the other returning voices will read a story from the book.

Evanna Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood is set to read The Fountain Of Fair Fortune. Bonnie Wright, who played Harry’s love interest Ginny Weasley, reads Babbitty Rabbitty And Her Cackling Stump.

Dumezweni will read The Tale Of The Three Brothers, which features in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, whilst Jason Isaacs, who played Lucius Malfoy in the Potter films, will read The Warlock’s Hairy Heart.

Warwick Davis will voice The Wizard and the Hopping Pot.

Evanna Lynch announced her participation through an Instagram post.

Bursting to share this news with you guys for almost a year!! 😀 I had the pleasure of narrating ‘The Fountain of Fair Fortune’ from J.K.Rowling’s The Tales of Beedle the Bard, for the first time in its audio format. ⚡️As a purist Potterhead and truthfully a bit of a book snob, I tend to regard J.K.R’s writing as something akin to sacred text and I had to have a little sit down when they asked me to be involved with this project. The entire collection is narrated by several other familiar voices in the Potter world 🙂Best of all, this project is in support of @wearelumos. It will be available to download on March 31st on @audible and you can pre order today at the link in my bio. ✨ #ListentoBeedle #BeedleTheBard #TheFountainofFairFortune
