Game Of Thrones Final Documentary Shows Emilia Clarke’s Last Moment Filming

Pretty emotional stuff, this.

Even if you’re not particularly enjoying the final season of Game of Thrones, you have to admit that it is absolutely beautifully made. Every single part of it is carefully thought about, constructed, and edited. It’s a masterpiece.

Now, HBO has announced that they are releasing a two hour documentary about the making of the last season, titled ‘The Last Watch’.

In the programme, we see Emilia Clarke’s last moments as Daenerys Targaryen…

The show will air on 26 May, a week after the final episode.

According to HBO, the documentary “delves deep into the mud and blood to reveal the tears and triumphs involved in the challenge of bringing the fantasy world of Westeros to life in the very real studios, fields and car-parks of Northern Ireland”.

After many MANY years of waiting, the end of Game of Thrones is finally almost here. Whether you’ve loved or hated the episodes so far (no spoilers, don’t worry), you have to admit that it’s been f*cking brilliant.

It has hooked millions of people worldwide, and despite the fact it is coming to an end, it’s paved the way for huge TV shows to prove that they can be just as big (if not bigger) than movies. The millions and millions spent on the production were completely worth it, in my opinion. It’s made superstars out of the cast, some of which we’ve watched grow up in front of our very eyes, and united all kinds of people all around the world with fan theories like no other show has before it.

Yeah, we might not get the ending we want. But to be fair when you’ve got millions of people all coming up with different ideas for endings, a lot of them are going to be better than the stuff the writers come up with. That’s just life.

But I’ve enjoyed the ride. Enjoy the final trailer…
