Game Of Thrones Euron Greyjoy Actor Adds Fuel To Those Dragon Rumours

Euron to something there, mate.

You may have read earlier that there could still be a huge win in there for Dany after there was potentially a new dragon coming into the show – which to be completely honest I don’t see possible with just two episodes left but hey, stranger things have happened.

Well, it looks like the actor behind Cersei’s new squeeze, Euron Greyjoy – played by Pilou Asbaek is having a bit of fun messing with the fans and their theories, after he said that next episode may include one, or TWO dragons.

He wrote to his fans: Gone with the wind….!!!? Maybe…. can’t wait for episode 5….there will be light! And death…. and coffee cups… Oreos…?…you might see a dragon…or two…or none…🤷🏼‍♂️☠️ …#thesuspenseiskillingme#shouldhavereadthescripts#gameofthrones#babyshower#❤️#dragonslayer#eurongreyjoy#whatisdeadmayneverdie#butprobablystillisdeadifyouaskme#whoknows btw. What an incredible view. The set designers on GOT are amazing and you feel extremely small and humble 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 thanks.

Hmm, what do you make of that? Obviously we’re going to see a dragon, because Drogon didn’t die in the last episode, but two?

In case you missed the Daenerys theory from the other day, here it is:

There is a new theory that a fourth dragon could be rising from the ashes to save the day. What’s more, could we see Tyrion Lannister ride into battle on the back of the show’s new addition?

The latest preview for episode five starts with a lingering shot of Tyrion Lannister at Dragonstone, with the camera focussing on the Imp for a just a little too long. Later, we see Pilou Asbæk’s Euron Greyjoy looking to the skies and being more than a little confused as a dragon roars overhead.

Euron has already seen Drogon in action, suggest what’s going on above him is something (or someone) shocking.

Game of Thrones Tyrion Dragon

Heading back to George R.R. Martin’s books that Game of Thrones is based on, there are plenty of theories that Tyrion is a secret Targaryen — hence his father’s hatred for him. There are also hints that he could be the third head of the dragon in the Targaryen sigil. Yes, we’ve seen the Night King become the prophesied third dragon rider, but there could still be some wiggle room for Tyrion to take flight.

Interestingly, there were rumours of a fourth dragon lurking beneath Dragonstone and being (ironically) made of Stone. Let’s also remember that big Azor Ahai prophecy. Melisandre hinted about the Dragonstone dragon: “When the red star bleeds and the darkness gathers, Azor Ahai shall be born again amidst smoke and salt to wake dragons out of stone.”

The evidence also points to the show’s latest opening sequence. The downsized version of the credits cryptically includes four dragons. Finally, Tyrion seemed a little too interested in Bran Stark’s wheelchair mechanics. Could the wine-swilling Hand of the King be working on his own special set that could see him ride a dragon?

Game of Thrones Four Dragons Title

The idea of a fourth dragon might explain why the show seemed to gloss over Rhaegal’s death with barely a whimper. Now that Dany is down to just one dragon, she could do with all the help she could get.

Since that shocking Season 1 finale when Daenerys Targaryen emerged from the flames with a brood of three dragons, we’ve seen her fully take on the mantle of the Mother of Dragons.

With there being just two episodes left, it might seem a bit of a stretch for Tyrion to suddenly stumble on the dormant dragon, manage to wake it up, and then take flight. That being said, it would be one hell of a twist to see him head down to King’s Landing to torch his villainous sister.
