Pick up those wands and prepare for another ‘fantastic’ adventure from the mind of J.K. Rowling. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is returning to cinemas with Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
Warner Bros. teased that the final trailer would arrive today (25 September) and we weren’t disappointed with another peek behind the Invisibility Cloak of secrecy surrounding The Crimes of Grindelwald.
With an all-star cast and the potential to earn a few more Galleons from Harry Potter, The Crimes of Grindelwald is set to be one of this year’s biggest movies.

Once again starring Eddie Redmayne as the adorable Newt Scamander, the titular beasts are sure to come in handy during the battle between good and evil. Muggles beware, there are plenty of people whipping out their wands in the trailer.
After Johnny Depp’s Gellert Grindelwald was captured by the Magical Congress of the United States of America (MACUSA) at the end of the first movie, he’s made good on his promise and broken out of custody to gather his followers.
The latest footage emphasises that The Crimes of Grindelwald will be a darker chapter in the Fantastic Beasts franchise. Breaking out from the confines of New York City and 2016’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the sequel is saying “oh là là” and heading to France.
As well as Newt, fan-favourites like Tina (Katherine Waterston), Jacob (Dan Fogler), and Queenie (Alison Sudol) are all back for more. Elsewhere, there’s the highly-anticipated arrival of Jude Law as a young Albus Dumbledore.
Potterheads know that Dumbledore and Grindelwald’s complicated history leads to a climactic battle between the pair wizards in 1945 and what eyewitnesses called the best duel of all time. With five Fantastic Beasts movies planned, The Crimes of Grindelwald will follow their early days.
Flying a broomstick into cinemas on 16 November 2018, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald promises to be another ‘magical’ instalment in the Potterverse. Get ready, #wandsup everyone.
