With Donald Trump coming to visit the UK, the President of the United States appears to have a bit of a makeover. Known for his signature look and THAT famous hair, the businessman/politician looks completely different these days.
Appearing at a church service in Virginia, the 72-year-old debuted his new haircut. Showcasing a slicked-back look, the POTUS literally looked like a new man. Just in time for his visit to the UK, Donald is trying something a little different.
Coming straight off the golf course, Trump had been wearing a baseball cap, so there’s a chance it was just hat hair. It looks like it’s business as usual for his UK visit, with Trump going back to his old style.
In other news, it’s reported that Trump won’t be crossing paths with Meghan Markle. According to the latest reports, Markle will be skipping Trump’s visit to Buckingham Palace. Leaving The Queen, Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, Prince William, Prince Harry, and Kate Middleton to hold down the fort, the Suits star apparently has better things to do.
CBS News claims that the timing of Prince Archie’s birth couldn’t be better for Meghan. She will be caring for her first-born instead of shaking hands with the businessman-turned-President.
Prince Harry will have a private lunch with Trump on his first day, followed by Kate and William meeting him on the second. Charles and Camilla will join the rest of the Royal Family for a welcome ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
Although there is no official statement from the Sussex Royals, it’s expected that Meghan will be hanging out with Archie at Frogmore Cottage. Royal commentator Victoria Arbiter told Inside Edition how Markle will effectively be on maternity leave during the Trump’s visit — how convenient.
Arbiter explained, “Meghan is not snubbing Donald Trump, it is simply for one very good reason: she is on maternity leave. When the Trumps arrive in London, Archie is going to be just shy of his one-month birthday.”
I don’t think she’ll be losing any sleep over missing out on the meeting though. In the past, Meghan has made her opinions on Trump pretty clear. Back in 2016, she spoke on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore and explained her stance on the divisive politician: “It’s really the moment I go; we film Suits in Toronto and I might just stay in Canada.
“Yes, of course, Trump is divisive, think about female voters alone, right? I think it was in 2012 the Republican Party lost the female vote by 12 points; that is a huge number and with as misogynistic as Trump is, and so vocal about it, that is a huge chunk of it.”
Sorry Meghan, it looks like you’ll be missing out on whatever hairstyle Trump decides to try on the rest of his visit.
