Ariana Grande ‘Brands Grammy Boss A Liar’ In Savage Twitter Rant

The singer cleared up rumours that she wouldn’t be attending the Grammys.

Despite her multiple Grammy nominations, it was rumoured this week that Ariana Grande had pulled out of performing at the awards show due to ‘creative differences’, however a new statement from the Grammy’s director has left the singer reeling, and she was forced to address the comments on social media.

Grammy’s boss, Ken Erhlich announced that Grande wouldn’t be performing at the show, saying that despite the show having multiple conversations with the singer, she ‘felt it was too late for her to pull something together”, telling the Associated Press on Thursday: “As it turned out when we finally got to the point where we thought maybe it would work, she felt it was too late for her to pull something together for sure. And it’s too bad. She’s a great artist.”

Ariana, clearly unhappy with their response, decided to share a screenshot of the comments made by Erhlich, saying: “mhmmm here it is ! “too late for her to pull something together…..”

“i’ve kept my mouth shut but now you’re lying about me. i can pull together a performance over night and you know that, Ken. it was when my creativity & self expression was stifled by you, that i decided not to attend. i hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more.[sic]”

The Thank U, Next singer then continued: “i offered 3 different songs. it’s about collaboration. it’s about feeling supported. it’s about art and honesty. not politics. not doing favors or playing games. it’s just a game y’all.. and i’m sorry but that’s not what music is to me.[sic]”

She further tweeted: “passed a Grammy’s bus with my face on it typing those.

“hope that helps everyone understand my decision. i am still grateful for the acknowledgement this year. [sic]”
