Anton Tries To Woo Anna In Tonight’s Love Island But It Goes Terribly Wrong

Yikes.

As Molly-Mae and Tommy start to get closer than ever (remember when she clipped his toenails?!), Anton is starting to realise that he’s alone. And he needs to couple up with someone – fast.

Therefore, he decides to try his luck with Anna. He says “You look amazing tonight as always. You know I value you so much in here. You’re my favourite girl in here.”

He continued: “Obviously Molly has come in and she is very much my type. You know that. I don’t want you to feel like you’re vulnerable in here. As long as I’m in here, I’ve got your back.”

Anna replies: “Thank you babe. Obviously, I want you to find someone. “

Anton replies: “As much as Molly is my type, she’s beautiful from the outside-in, you’re beautiful on the inside and out. You’re not necessarily my absolute type on paper but Molly, who is someone who is my type, I still wouldn’t want to be with someone like that.”

However, it’s really backfired as Anna retires to the Beach Hut to discuss how the conversation has made her feel: “I don’t know whether to take that as a compliment or not.”

Anton says :I’m not saying that we’ll ever turn into something romantic but I just want to pick up where we left off before the recoupling.”

When Anna later speaks to Amber, Yewande and Amy about their chat, Amber’s reaction is “He is such a fool.”

In the Beach Hut, Anna says “If Anton liked me, he wouldn’t have been hitting on Molly. So, he doesn’t like me. I don’t know what he was trying to say. It was confusing me.”

Michael and Amber later confronted Anton about his conversation, with Amber saying: “Why did you go over and say ‘Molly-Mae is my type, that is what I want appearance wise but personality-wise you [Anna]’?

Michael adds: “You didn’t think when you spoke.”

Anton, who though the chat went well, says: “I didn’t mean it like that.”

At the Beach Hut later on, Anton reflects, saying: “I’m starting to realise this is why I can’t get a girl in this villa.”

Yep, Anton. You’re right. And now I want to get that quote printed on a t-shirt.

In tonight’s episode, the two new girls also enter the villa and choose three boys each to go on a date with. Some of the other girls start to get jealous. I would too! Let’s meet the girls…

When asked what she would rate herself, she said: “I think I’m a solid seven in looks and my best feature is either my ears or my smile. My ear lobes are in a perfect position for a nice pair of earrings.”

Maura Higgins

ITV2

Maura Higgins is a 28-year-old model and grid girl from County Longford, Ireland.

She told ITV2: “I’m outgoing and I really am looking to find love. I’m a relationship type of girl. I hate being single. I was in a nine-year relationship that finished a few years ago. Then I was with another guy, we broke up last year sometime, then we got back together but the trust was gone and it’s not going to come back. It ended quite recently. As the trust is just gone, for me, there is no going back.”

In 2017, Maura starred in Liam Payne’s music video for his single Get Low.

This comes after the news that Sherif Lanre has left the Love Island villa was announced.

A Love Island spokesperson said: “After breaking the villa rules Sherif had conversations with the producers and it was mutually agreed that he would leave the Love Island villa.”

Sherif said: “In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa.

“I regret that I didn’t conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20 year old guy, it’s something I know I will take on board and learn from. I really enjoyed my time in the villa and look forward to catching up with everyone on the outside.”
