American Pie Cast Reunite For 20th Anniversary And It’s Nostalgic AF

The cast of American Pie has a reunion for the 20th anniversary of the first movie, and now we want to watch all the movies back-to-back.

Believe it or not, the first movie was released in cinemas on 9th July 1999. Where has the time gone?! Weirdly, the whole cast look pretty much exactly the same as they did two decades ago.

Maybe the secret to looking young is eating apple pie?

In the photo, Jason Biggs (Jim Levenstein), Alyson Hannigan (Michelle Flaherty), Eddie Kaye Thomas (Paul Finch), Chris Klein (Chris ‘Oz’ Ostreicher), Natasha Lyonne (Jessica), Tara Reid (Vicky Lathum), and Sean William Scott (Stifler) are all grinning widely.

They were together for an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

Fans loved the reunion, but I doubt they’ll be calling for the cast to do another movie any time soon.

The success of the first movie led to a whole load of sequels. Some were brilliant, some… erm… weren’t.

They had: American Pie 2, American Wedding and American Reunion, along with spin-off movies American Pie: Band Camp, American Pie: The Naked Mile, American Pie: Beta House, and American Pie: The Book of Love.

In the interview, Jason Biggs spoke about the ‘apple pie’ scene. The one that’s meant a lot of us can’t look at the sweet dessert the same way anymore.

Explaining his thought process when he received the script, he said: “I just thought, ‘Oh my god, that’s amazing. I’ve never read anything like that. I’ve never seen anything like that’,

“And I remember saying to myself, ‘God, I really hope I get this part. I really want to do that.’ Like, ‘That seems like something I would love to go for. I’m going to be a fearless comedian.'”

Fair enough!
